Fairview is a city in Brown County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, 240 people lived there.[3]

History

Fairview was founded in 1872. It was named for its scenic setting.[4]

The 2020 census says that there were 240 people, 118 households, and 69 families living in the city. Of the households, 82.2% owned their home and 17.8% rented their home.

The median age was 50.0 years. Of the people, 91.7% were White, 0.8% were Native American, 0.4% were Black, 2.5% were from some other race, and 4.6% were two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.3% of the people.[3][5]
