Federal Assembly (Switzerland)
The Federal Assembly (German: [Bundesversammlung] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help), French: [Assemblée fédérale] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help), Italian: [Assemblea federale] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help), Romansh: [Assamblea federala] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)) is Switzerland's federal legislature. It meets in Bern in the Federal Palace.
The Federal Assembly is bicameral, being made-up of the 200-seat National Council and the 46-seat Council of States. The houses have same powers. Members of both houses represent the cantons.
