Folklore is part of the culture of a group of people. It may include stories, music, dance, legends, oral history, proverbs, jokes, and popular beliefs. This also includes the oral traditions of that culture. The academic study of folklore is sometimes called folkloristics.[1] Folkloristics is often ethnographic.

Little Red Riding Hood is a famous folktale in European culture.
