Foster City is a city in San Mateo County, California. As of the 2020 census, 33,805 people live in Foster City.[1] The city is sometimes thought to be part of Silicon Valley for its local industry and its neighboring Silicon Valley cities.
It is on San Francisco Bay's western shore. It shares borders with San Mateo, Belmont, and Redwood City. The San Mateo–Hayward Bridge connects Foster City to Hayward.
