Fukuoka Airport
Fukuoka Airport (福岡空港, Fukuoka Kūkō) (IATA: FUK, ICAO: RJFF), formerly known as Itazuke Air Base, is a Japanese airport in Fukuoka.
The airport is in Hakata, which is south-east of the city center. No other airport in Japan is so close to the central part of the city as Fukuoka Airport.[1]
Fukuoka is officially a second class airport.[2] It is operating at full capacity, and cannot be further expanded.
Fukuoka Airport is the fourth busiest passenger airport in Japan.
