Günter Halm

Günter Halm (27 August 1922 – 26 September 2017) was a German Nazi infantryman and lieutenant. He was born in Elize, Germany. He was raised in Hanover, Germany. He was the youngest member of the Afrika Korps to be awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross for his bravery in action. He was active in the military from 1941 through 1945.
Halm died in Bad Münder, Germany on 26 September 2017 at the age of 95.[1]
