Gross indecency

Gross indecency is a legal term used in some English-speaking countries. It was first used to criminalize personal intimate acts between men, in 1855. Oscar Wilde was charged with gross indecency, in 1895. Alan Turing also pleaded guilty to the charge of gross indecency. It is punished differently, in places where it is a crime.
