Hargovind Laxmishanker Trivedi, better known as H. L. Trivedi, (31 August 1932 – 2 October 2019) was an Indian nephrologist, immunologist, transplantation medicine and stem cell researcher. He was a known physician of transplantation medicine in India. He was a founding director of the Kidney Hospital in Ahmedabad. He performed more than 5200 kidney transplantations.[1] He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2015. He was born in present-day Gujarat, India.

Trivedi died on 2 October 2019 in Ahmedabad, India from Parkinson's disease-related problems at the age of 87.[2][3]
