Biography
Takahashi was born in Isesaki on October 17, 1987. After graduating from Tokyo Gakugei University, he joined J1 League club FC Tokyo in 2010. Although he debuted in first season, Tokyo was relegated to J2 League end of the 2010 season. In 2011, he became a regular player as defensive midfielder and Tokyo was returned to J1 in a year. Tokyo also won the champions in the 2011 Emperor's Cup. He played 180 matches for the club in 7 seasons. In 2017, he move to Vissel Kobe. In 2018, he moved to Sagan Tosu and played in 3 seasons. In 2021, he moved to Yokohama FC.
On May 23, 2012, Takahashi debuted for the Japan national team against Azerbaijan. In 2013, he participated 2013 Confederations Cup, but he did not play in the match. He played 7 games for Japan until 2013.
