Imerio Massignan
Imerio Massignan (born January 2, 1937)[1] is an Italian retired professional cyclist. He was born in Altavilla Vicentina.[2]

Career
His first professional race was the Giro d'Italia in 1959. He finished 5th overall. He did well in the Giro d'Italia for six years. His best finish was 2nd overall in 1962.
At the Tour de France he won the Polka dot jersey for best climber in 1960 and 1961.[3] In 1961 he also finished 4th overall. Later in 1961 he came second in the Giro di Lombardia.
Massignan retired in 1969.
