J Nyi Nyi
J Nyi Nyi (Burmese: ဂျေညီညီ; pronounced: [dʑè ɲì ɲ]; 12 December 1953 – 31 March 2025) was a Burmese singer and musician. He was known for his contributions to Myanmar's pop music. From the 1970s until his death in 2025, he helped shape modern Burmese pop music by mixing traditional sounds with modern styles. He released many albums and remained a well-known figure in Myanmar’s music industry.[1][2]

Early life and education
J Nyi Nyi was born on 12 December 1953 in Yangon, Myanmar. He was interested in music from a young age. He studied the arts and music, which helped him become a singer and songwriter.[3][4]
Career
J Nyi Nyi started his music career in the 1970s and became one of Myanmar's top pop singers. His unique voice and style made him popular. In the 1980s, he helped modernize Burmese pop music by combining traditional Burmese music with new pop sounds.[5][6]
