Jim Molan

Andrew James Molan (11 April 1950 – 16 January 2023) was an Australian politician and former major general in the Australian Army. He was a member of the Liberal Party. He served as a senator for New South Wales from November 2019 until his death in January 2023. He was also a senator for New South Wales from December 2017 to June 2019.

Molan was born in East Melbourne, Victoria. He was married to Anne and has four children. One of his daughters is Erin Molan, a sports presenter.

In April 2021, Molan said he had an aggressive form of cancer.[2] He died on 16 January 2023, at the age of 72.[3]
