Joan Plowright
Dame Joan Ann Plowright, Baroness Olivier DBE (28 October 1929 – 16 January 2025) was an English actress. Her career spanned over sixty years. She won two Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award and was nominated for an Academy Award, an Emmy and two BAFTA Awards.[1][2] She was married to the actor Laurence Olivier from 1961 until his death in 1989.

Plowright died at retirement home in Northwood, England on 16 January 2025, at the age of 95.[3][4]
