John Berry (musician)
John Berry, Jr. (August 29, 1963 – May 19, 2016) was an American punk-genre guitarist. He was born in New York. Berry was known for being an original member of the rap band Beastie Boys. He was known for creating the name of the band.[1] He joined the band in 1981, but left in 1983. His most famous album recorded with the band was "Polly Wog Stew".
Berry died from complications of dementia in a hospital in Danvers, Massachusetts on May 19, 2016, aged 52.[2]
