John Enderby

Sir John Edwin Enderby (16 January 1931 – 3 August 2021) was a British physicist. From 1976 to 1996 he was professor of physics at the University of Bristol.[1] From 2004-2006 he was the president of the Institute of Physics. In 2004 he received a knighthood for services to science.[2]

He was elected a member of the Academia Europaea in 1989.[3]

Enderby died on 3 August 2021, aged 90.[4]
