John G. Richardson (June 29, 1957 – June 16, 2020) was an American politician. He was a Democrat. He was Maine's Commissioner of Economic and Community Development and the Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives from 2004 to 2006. He was a member of the Maine House of Representatives from 1998 to 2006.
Richardson unsuccessfully ran for the Democratic nomination for Governor of Maine in 2010. He was born in Washington, D.C..
Richardson died on June 16, 2020 from a heart attack in Brunswick, Maine at the age of 62.[1]
