John Jacobs (English golfer)
John Robert Maurice Jacobs OBE (14 March 1925 – 13 January 2017) was an English professional golfer, coach, entrepreneur, writer and administrator. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2000. He was born in Yorkshire. He founded the PGA European Tour in 1972.
Jacobs' death was announced on 13 January 2017 at the age of 91.[1]
