Julianna Barwick
Julianna Barwick is an American singer. She was born in Louisiana. She has released three albums.
Career
In 2006 Barwick released Sanguine. Her first album The Magic Place was released by Asthmatic Kitty Records on February 21, 2011. It got good reviews. Pitchfork gave it 8.5 out of 10.[1] On June 14 2011, FRKWYS Vol. 6 was released. It is an album that Barwick made with Ikue Mori. On August 20, 2013, Nepenthe was released by Dead Oceans Records. Amiina play string instruments in it. There is also a choir of teenage girls in it. Pitchfork said that it 'sounds like nobody else'.[2] They gave it 8.5 out of 10.[3] Barwick is currently doing a tour for the album.
