Kadima
Kadima, Hebrew: קדימה - Forward, is an Israeli political party.
Its ideology is centrist liberal, and Zionist.
Kadima believed in both Israel's security and continuing the peace process, and supported negotiating an agreement for peace with the Palestinians, but is de facto defunct.
Kadima was founded on November 24, 2005 by Ariel Sharon, as a splitting from Likud.

Shimon Peres, former leader of the Labor Party, formally joined Kadima and before being elected President of Israel was in the second place in the Kadima Knesset list after the Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and before the Foreign and Justice Minister, Tzipi Livni.
