Katherine Helmond
Katherine Marie Helmond (July 5, 1929[1] – February 23, 2019) was an American film, theater and television actress and director, who portrayed Emily Dickinson on Meeting of Minds, as well as fictional characters, for which she was best-known, such as Jessica Tate on Soap, Mona Robinson on Who's the Boss?, Doris Sherman on Coach, and Lois Whelan on Everybody Loves Raymond and Mrs. Lowry in Brazil.

Helmond was born in Galveston, Texas on July 5, 1929.[2] She was married to George N. Martin from 1957 until they divorced in 1962. She married her second husband David Christian in 1962. She has no children.
Helmond died on February 23, 2019, from complications of Alzheimer's disease at her home in Los Angeles. aged 89.[3]
