Ken Sim
Kenneth Sim (Chinese: 沈觀健; Cantonese Yale: Sám Gūn-gihn; born October 18, 1970) is a Canadian politician and businessman. He is the 40th and current mayor of Vancouver. He was elected on October 15, 2022.[2] Sim is the first Mayor of Vancouver of Chinese Canadian descent.[3]

He has a Bachelor of Commerce from the UBC Sauder School of Business.[4]
Sim also ran for mayor under the Non-Partisan Association party in 2018 but came second to Kennedy Stewart.[5] He left the party because he felt that it was shifting to the right.[6]
During the election, Sim ran under the centre-right ABC Vancouver party.[7] Sim took office on November 7, 2022.[8]
