Khuman dynasty
The Khuman dynasty (Old Manipuri: Khuman Yek Salai ) is one of the seven ruling clan dynasties in Ancient Manipur (Antique Kangleipak). It was subjugated under the Ningthouja dynasty in the end of the 14th century AD.[1][2] The theory of the formation of the Khuman dynasty has both historic as well as mythical aspects.[3] It was one of the three most powerful dynasties, the others being Ningthouja dynasty (Mangang dynasty) and Luwang dynasty.[4]
