King of the Jungle

King of the Jungle is a 1933 Paramount Pictures movie. It was directed by H. Bruce Humberstone and Max Marcin. It stars Buster Crabbe and Frances Dee.

Story

Kaspa, a man raised in the African jungles by lions is captured by circus people and taken to New York City with his lion friends. The man escapes as the ship nears New York. Dressed in nothing but a loin cloth, he encounters a pretty girl on the streets who teaches him English. They fall in love. When a fire breaks out in the Brooklyn Zoo, panic stricken animals begin running wild in the streets. Kaspa saves the day.
