Krzysztof "Kris" Matyjaszewski (Polish: [ˈkʂɨʂtɔf matɨjaˈʂɛfskʲi]; born April 8, 1950) is a Polish-American[1] chemist. He is a Professor of the Natural Sciences at the Carnegie Mellon University.[2]
Matyjaszewski is best known for the discovery of atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP).[3] In 2011 he was a co-winner of the Wolf Prize in Chemistry.[4]
