Maaz ibn Jabal
Muaz ibn Jabal (Arabic: مُعاذ ابن جبل) (603 – 639) was one of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad.[1][2] He belonged to the tribe of Banu Khazraj. He accepted Islam before the Second pledge at al-Aqabah. He was known as the one with a lot of knowledge.[3] He was called by Prophet Muhammad, "the one who will lead the scholars into Paradise". Prophet Muhammad sent Muaz to Yemen to teach its people about Islam. He also helped in collecting the Quran in written form.[1]

His remained very close to Prophet Muhammad (SAW; PBUH) during battle of Tabuk. When complete Army was also dispersed after long journey,he was still accompanying Prophet and told him that people dispersed o as they are extremely tired instead of self praise as he was only close to him at that moment. He is also considered to ask important question to Prophet at this moment about how to enter in Paradise. Prophet said him that bearing oneness of God (Allah) and accepting that he is Muhammad ( PBUH) is His prophet.
At this occasion, Prophet said that Islam is like a tree ; it's root are testimony of above ( Onessss of Allah) an his prophethood , it's stem is Prayers ( five times ), zakat and his peak is Jihad Fee seeblilah( Strive / efforts in way of Allah ).[4]
