The Magellan goose (Chloephaga picta picta) or upland goose is a bird of Anatidae family. It is most commonly found in the southern part of South America, Tierra del Fuego. The Upland goose is a subspecies of Chloephaga picta leucoptera.[1] The Upland Goose is one of the most conspicuous birds in the Falklands. The subspecies Chloephaga picta leucoptera is only found in the Falklands. It is slightly larger than the South American subspecies.
