Longest Journey by Motorcycle in a Single Country
Manigandan Manjunathan rode 38,239 km (23,765 miles) across India. Some Indian sources report that his journey was actually longer, clocking 41,450 km (25,761 miles), but Guinness World Records homologated the first figure. He traveled throughout India from November 9, 2014, to February 15, 2015, on a Royal Enfield Classic 500. After 86 days of traversing the diverse terrains of India, Manigandan returned home to Tiptur on February 15, 2015.
The previous record for the longest journey by motorcycle in a single country was 35,511 km. Manigandan broke this record while traveling midway from Balotra in Rajasthan towards Gandhinagar in Gujarat.[1][2][3]
Largest Parade of Bajaj Motorcycles
The largest parade of Bajaj motorcycles was achieved at an event organized by Manigandan Manjunathan, Riderspedia, and Baalamithra Ashram (all India) in Mumbai, India, on January 26, 2017. The parade involved 324 participants who completed a 19 km route.[4]
