Marcel Grün
Marcel Grün (20 November 1946 in Cheb – 2 November 2020[1]) was a Czech astronomer, teacher, and writer. For over 15 years he worked as the director of the Prague Observatory and Planetarium.

Life
He worked at the Štefánik Observatory. He graduated from the Czech Technical University. In the 1960s, he was a member of the unofficial SPACE club.[2] At the Prague Planetarium, he was involved in astronautics. From 2002 to 2018, he was director of the Prague Observatory and Planetarium.[3]
The asteroid 10403 Marcelgrün is named for him.
