Mardan
Mardan (Pashto: مردان), is a city in Pakistan. It is in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.[1] The city is the capital of Mardan District. It is known as the "city of hospitality".

The Edicts of Ashoka were carved on a massive boulder near Mardan around 250 BCE.

Gul Bahar village is situated on Mardan road. Near the Gul Bahar village there is another village called Jamal Garhi. There are Buddhist ruins.
