Mikantji

Mikantji is a waterhole in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is an important sacred site for Warlpiri-speaking Aborigines. The site features in their Dreaming stories.[1] Fire- and rain-making rituals are performed here by the Warlpiri.

Mikantji is located about 50 km (31 mi) northwest of Yuendumu, on the road coming north from Papunya.
