MikroTik
MikroTik is a Latvian network equipment manufacturer founded in 1996. They develop and sell network routers, switches, access points, and software. They gained recognition for their product, RouterOS, initially developed for x86 PC hardware. In 2002, they started producing their own low-power single-board computers called RouterBoard.[3] MikroTik's product line expanded over time, including the Cloud Core Router (CCR) series in 2012. They faced vulnerabilities in the past, such as the VPNFilter malware and security flaws in RouterOS.[4][5][6] In 2021, they encountered the Mēris botnet, causing DDoS attacks.[7]
