Milford Graves
Milford Graves, (August 20, 1941 – February 12, 2021) was an American jazz drummer and percussionist. He was born in New York City. He was known for his early avant-garde works in the 1960s with Paul Bley, Albert Ayler, and the New York Art Quartet.[1]
Graves died of heart failure in New York City on February 12, 2021 at the age of 79.[2]
