Miyazawa's first collection of children's stories and fairy tales was The Restaurant of Many Orders (注文の多い料理店, <span title="Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Language/data/ISO 639 override' not found. transliteration" class="Unicode" style="white-space:normal; text-decoration: none">Chūmon no Ōi Ryōriten). Another famous work of his was Night on the Galactic Railroad (銀河鉄道の夜, <span title="Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Language/data/ISO 639 override' not found. transliteration" class="Unicode" style="white-space:normal; text-decoration: none">Gingatetsudō no Yoru).
