Mohammad Mirmohammadi
Seyyed Mohammad Mirmohammadi (Persian: سید محمد میرمحمدی; 1948 – 2 March 2020) was an Iranian politician. He served as the senior adviser to Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei. He was a member of Expediency Discernment Council from 2018 until his death in 2020. He served as a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly from 2001 to 2005. He was also a member of the central council of the Islamic Republic Party, presidential chief of staff during the presidencies of Ali Khamenei and Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, and secretary general of the Islamic Civilization Party. Mirmohammadi was born in Qom.
On 2 March 2020, Mirmohammadi died in Tehran due to COVID-19 during the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. He was 71.[1]
