Mount Ruapehu
Mount Ruapehu is an active volcano on North Island, New Zealand. It is the highest mountain in North Island with a height of 2,797 metres (9,177 ft).[1] It is located in Taupo, New Zealand. It last erupted in September 2007.[1]
History
In 1948, an airplane crashed into the volcano. All the people in the airplane died.[2]
