Ontario Reign

The team originally played in Manchester, New Hampshire as the Manchester Monarchs from 2001 to 2015. On January 29, 2015, the Los Angeles Kings announced that the team would be moving to Ontario, California and would become the Ontario Reign. There was already a team called the Ontario Reign in the ECHL at the time and when the Monarchs moved to Ontario, the ECHL Reign moved to Manchester to become the ECHL's Manchester Monarchs.[1][2]

On October 10, 2015, the team would play their first game as the Ontario Reign. They would defeat the Bakersfield Condors 5–0.[3]

In the 2015–16 season, the Reign would finish the season with 44 wins, 19 losses, and 93 points, leading the Pacific Division. They would make it the Western Conference finals but would lose to the Lake Erie Monsters four games to zero.[4]
