Peenemünde

Peenemünde (peːnəˈmʏndə) is a village in the northeast of the German (Western) part of Usedom island. It is near the mouth of the Peene river, on the easternmost part of the German Baltic coast. The town became well known because of the V-2 development by Wernher von Braun.
