Peg Lautenschlager
Peggy Ann "Peg" Lautenschlager (November 22, 1955 – March 31, 2018)[1] was an American attorney and politician. He was the first chair of the Wisconsin Ethics Commission.[2][3]

Lautenschlager was Attorney General of the State of Wisconsin from January 3, 2003 to January 3, 2007. She replaced fellow Democrat Jim Doyle when Doyle was elected Governor of Wisconsin in 2002.
Lautenschlager was the first woman in history to have been elected Wisconsin Attorney General.[4]
Lautenschlager died on March 31, 2018 at her home in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin of breast and bone cancer, aged 62.[5][6][7]
