Piroska Oszoli

Piroska Oszoli (21 January 1919 – 22 March 2017) was a Hungarian painter, is known as The lover of the Danube and the beautiness. She was born and also dead in Dunaföldvár, Hungary. She made especially as applied to plein-air landscape painting.

Her master as an amateur artist was the famous Transylvanian painter Ferenc Doór (1918–2015).[1] After teaching she became a pensioner, and started her painting as an individual artist.

Oszoli worked all around her village and neighborhood, after in Hungary, at Balaton. She painted natural surroundings in Italy, Croatia, Germany and Norway. Her paintings are present from Austria to New Zealand.[2]

Oszoli died on 22 March 2017 in Dunaföldvár, aged 98.[3]
