Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch
Porfirije (Serbian Cyrillic: Порфирије , English: Porphyrius; born Prvoslav Perić; born 22 July 1961) is the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church. He was the Metropolitan bishop of Zagreb and Ljubljana of the Serbian Orthodox Church, from 2014 to 2021. Before that, he was titular bishop of Jegar between 1999 and 2014.[1]
On 19 February 2021, he became the 46th Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church.[2]
