Quitman, Texas

Quitman is a city in the state of Texas in the United States. It is the county seat of Wood County.[7] About 1,942 people lived there in 2020.[4] It was named for John A. Quitman, a governor of Mississippi.[7] Sissy Spacek was born in Quitman.[7]
