Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar[n 1] (Hindi: कुतुब मीनार) is a minaret. It forms a part of the Qutab complex. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mehrauli, Delhi, India. Qutub Minar is 73 metres (240 feet) tall. It has five storeys. It gets narrower from bottom to top. It is 14 metres (47 feet) in diameter at the ground. It is 2.7 metres (9 feet) in diameter at the top. A spiral staircase rises 379 steps to twas top inside.It was started to built by Qutubuddin Aibak. It was finished by Iltutamish but when tughlaqs came the top most storey broken. Then firoz shah tughlaq repaired it.
