Raimondas Tumėnas

Raimondas Tumėnas (born on January 9, 1963) is a co-investor and one of the owners of the investment company BT Invest.[1][2] The main financing field is concentrated on retail trade, real estate development, shopping center lease, and port operator companies in Ukraine and partly in Lithuania.[3] These companies employ over 6 000 people.

Biography

Raimondas Tumenas was born on January 9, 1963, in Vilnius, Lithuania. He studied in Vilnius „Žvėrynas“ gymnasium.[4] He was a student of Vilnius University Faculty of Economics.

Career

In the 1990s, Raimondas Tumenas started his investing activity in Ukraine with 2 Ukrainian businessmen.

In 2008, the investment company BT Invest was created by Raimondas Tumenas and Igor Bezzub.

Sandora

In 1995, they established Sandora as a company of juices production. It was one of the most successful companies in Ukraine. In 2007, Pepsi Cola bought Sandora.[5][6]

Novus

In 2009, the retail company Novus was launched.[7]

In 2013, Novus started its cooperation with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).[8][9][10][11]

In 2020, Novus company acquired Billa supermarkets.[12]

Stolitsa Group

In 2009, Raimondas Tumenas became an investor in Stolitsa Group which is one of the largest real estate companies in Kyiv now.[13]

In 2020, the company finished the project of a new shopping and entertainment center Retroville in Kyiv.[14][15][16]

EVT

In 2020, BT Invest joined the development of a new infrastructure project EVT — marine port in Mykolayiv, Ukraine.[17]

The Lithuanian leaders support Raimondas Tumenas activity in Ukraine.

In 2011, the president of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė opened a trade fair in Novus.[18]

In 2019, Raimondas Tumenas was invited to the official dinner of the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky in Lithuania.
