Rich Piana
Richard "Rich" Piana (September 26, 1969 – August 25, 2017) was an American businessman, entrepreneur, social media personality, bodybuilder, YouTuber, content creator, actor, and stuntman. He was born in Los Angeles, California.[1] Was of Italian and Armenian heritage. Stood 6 ft 2 in (188 cm) and weighed 330 lbs (150 kg). Had massive 25-in (64 cm) biceps.
Piana won the Mr. California title along with competitions in Los Angeles in 2003 and Sacramento in 2009.[2][3] His admission in 2016 that he used anabolic steroids as part of his regimen was controversial.[4] Piana often appeared in commercials and television series such as Scrubs and Ripley's Believe It or Not.[1]
Piana died at age 47 on August 25, 2018 in Florida, after spending two weeks in an induced coma following a possible overdose.[5][2]
