Richard D. Zanuck
Richard Darryl Zanuck (December 13, 1934 – July 13, 2012) was an American movie producer. He won an Academy Award for Best Picture in 1989 for his work in Driving Miss Daisy. He has also won the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, and a Hollywood Film Award. Zanuck and David Brown were one of the most successful movie producers in Hollywood in the 1960s and in the 1970s.

Early life
Zanuck was born on December 13, 1934 in Los Angeles, California, to actress Virginia Fox and Darryl F. Zanuck. He was educated at Stanford University.
Personal life
Zanuck was married to Lili Gentle from 1958 until they divorced in 1968. Later he married Linda Harrison from 1969 until they divorced in 1978. Lastly he married Lili Fini Zanuck from 1978 until his death in 2012. He has two children.
Death
Zanuck died on July 13, 2012 from a heart attack in his Beverly Hills, California home.[2] He is survived by his wife, they had no children. More than 130 people attended his funeral.
