Richard Rush (director)
Richard Rush (April 15, 1929 – April 8, 2021) was an American movie director, screenwriter and producer. He was best known for his Academy Award-nominated movie The Stunt Man (1980). He also directed Color of Night (1994), which flopped at the box office. The movie won a Golden Raspberry Award as the worst movie of 1994. His other movies include Too Soon to Love (1960), Hells Angels on Wheels (1967), Psych-Out (1968), Freebie and the Bean (1974) and Air America (1990).
Rush was born in New York City. He died on April 8, 2021 in Los Angeles, aged 91.[1]
