History
The school was established in 1918.[2]The Junior College was set up in 1970 with two academic departments and started to offering to Clothing(changed to Life Science on April 1 in 1991) and Nunny.[2]
At first name of this junior college was Lua error in Module:Unicode_data at line 293: attempt to index local 'data_module' (a boolean value)..[1]
In 1987, another academic department was set up.[2]
It originally took only female students. It began accepting male students in all departments since 2008 and name of this junior college was changed to Shiga Junior College at same time.[2]
