Sidi Massinissa of the Rif
Sidi Massinissa of the Rif (born 8 November 2001) is a philanthropist and socialite. He is the great-great-grandson of Amghar Mohammed Ameziane, Prince of the Rif.[1][2]

Early life
He is the son of singer-songwriter Sidi Abdelhak Akandouch, founder of the band Twattoun, and author Asmaa Aouattah.[3] Akandouch began his career in public work as a child, joining conferences, protests and campaigns organized by his family to promote Amazigh and Riffian identity, culture and language, feminism and social rights.[4][3][5]
Massinissa's family has been part of African aristocracy since the 19th century. His paternal great-great-grandfather, the Amghar Mohammed Ameziane, Prince of the Rif, was the last tribal monarch of the Rif and the first Rifian anti-colonial leader who led the Rifians to war against the Spanish colonization of the Rif, ultimately leading to his death in battle. during the Kert campaign by the Spanish colonial army.[6]
Public and philanthropic work
Rif Tribes Foundation
Massinissa of the Rif is the founder and president of the Rif Tribes Foundation, a humanitarian and artistic entity dedicated to creating a better future for the youth of the Rif mountains in northern Morocco.[7] His work at the Foundation focuses mainly on action humanitarian and cultural development and has carried out programs to fight hunger, through the delivery of monthly food aid boxes to families in the Rif mountains and other projects.[8] Massinissa's charity was featured in the February issue of GQ Magazine.[9]
The Rif Tribes Foundation has received the support of luxury fashion houses like Casablanca Paris and Maison Sara Chraïbi, government authorities like Chourak, Governor of Al-Hoceima and advisor to King Mohammed VI of Morocco and personalities like Malika El Mahsouli, ElGrandeToto, Ouidad Elma and Rabi Skalli.
