Skibidi Toilet

Skibidi Toilet is a show by Alexey Gerasimov and uploaded on his YouTube channel DaFuq!?Boom!. The videos feature strange characters and a story about a war between toilets with heads and hardware with human bodies. Gerasimov used Source Filmmaker to produce Skibidi Toilet. Since the first short was posted on 7 February 2023, Skibidi Toilet has become a popular meme across social media. Gerasimov's channel has seen massive growth on YouTube. As of October 2023, it has over 32.5 million subscribers and 12 billion views overall.

Story

The show documents a conflict between singing human-headed toilets—the Skibidi Toilets—and humans with cameras, speakers and televisions for heads. A remix of the songs "Give It to Me" by Timbaland and "Dom Dom Yes Yes" by Biser King appears as the theme song of the Skibidi Toilets.

The series does not have a plot. However, the series began to expand on its lore starting from episode 10.

Production

Skibidi Toilet is made by Alexey Gerasimov, known as "DaFuq!?Boom!" and "Blugray" on YouTube. Since 2014, he has been learning animation without formal education. He lives in the country of Georgia, and was born in 1998. His channel has produced a few popular videos, such as when his video I'M AT DIP accumulated over 45 million views.

Every episode is made using Source Filmmaker, a film-making software. The creator has said he uses this software because "it allows me to work easier and faster with assets that I need doing animation, direction, writing, and editing myself." The music was popularized due to a TikTok video posted by @yasincengiz38, which was a meme before the series release.
