Solly Drake
Solomon Louis Drake (October 23, 1930 – August 18, 2021) was an American professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Philadelphia Phillies. His career lasted from 1956 until 1959. Drake and his brother, Sammy, were the first African-American siblings to play in the big leagues.[1] Drake was born in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Drake died on August 18, 2021 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 90.[2]
